About Me

Disclaimer : May 2015

The majority body of this content below hadn't been updated since 2010. I'm leaving it alone. The wall of text-list of people I hosted and hosted by, looked better when the old site allowed html links. The formatting issues are beyond my control.

We are currently working on our home in a lovely village on the famous wine route of Alsace. We are aiming to be able to host at least 4 families at a time (up to 6, with own room) at our compact home.

Summary of life since 2010 :

2010, Unofficial move to France which later turned official.

2011, I went back to the U.S. to tour with a veteran punk band around US/Canada. It was the last time I was there.

2012, I got married & produced a baby.

2013, We took a family trip to Vietnam with our 14 month old and while I was 7 month pregnant. Good times were had by all AND the trip was televised on France 3 TV channel.

2014, the second baby arrived in the early part of the year.

2015, working on our house in a small picturesque Alsace village.

CURRENT MISSION

to make life, work, passion, and dreams one entity. To follow through with my smack talk.

ABOUT ME

free floating firing neuron, subtly reactionary, embracer of cynically realist streaks, vaguely guided by transcendental idealism, permanent lover of everyday heroes, in the arts, and any other skills that come with dedication, passion, and time - even more with innovation. generally fascinated with assorted well-rounded intelligent, exceptional humans, especially those who are just as willing to give some out-landish collaborative thing a try for even the smallest chance of an advancement for individual... and societal's mind adventure and later, mental growth.

PHILOSOPHY

Quoting is so unoriginal. I can't help it but to cite someone else's who put it together better than I could.

"All things are subject to interpretation whichever interpretation prevails at a given time is a function of power and not truth." - Friedrich Nietzsche

"The problem is not that there are problems. The problem is expecting otherwise and thinking that having problems is a problem." - Theodore Rubin

"Treat people as if they were what they ought to be and you help them to become what they are capable of being." - Goethe

These are pretty much my underlining principles - conviction, perseverance, believing in the best of people and holding them to it.

Interests

photography film preferred, specifically and hugely into the Tmax 3200 hand-process and hires scan. Although I occasionally surprise myself by shooting color... and gasp! digital! > Still not my thing, but all is good.

art particularly oil paintings- naturalism/fauvism/romanticism/ mannerism/baroque and sculptures. Lately I've been most fascinated with Jim Campbell's work and am looking closely in all contemporary interpretations of the modern life in the context of bridging the digital/analog worlds.
