As far as I go, I am a relatively easy-going guy, There isn't a single person I can think of that I dislike, and nearly everyone I meet is a friend for life after five minutes.

In November of 2008, my friends in Nashville told me about Couchsurfing, and since I have always had wanderlust and the desire for traveling abroad, I had to check it out. Before that I spent 1 year in the United States Marine Corps and have traveled all over the United States, Spain, the Dominican Republic, South Korea, and China, and have always felt that my home was elsewhere.

I have studied Spanish for nearly 14 years now, I love the language and love every opportunity to befriend the cultures in which it is spoken. I also studied Mandarin Chinese at Hangzhou Normal University in 2013.

Many of my friends refer to me as a "Bluebird" because when I hear a song: almost any song, I immediately recognize it and can't help but sing along and spread happiness. Singing is a comforting, happy and emotional medium from which I express myself.

I graduated from MTSU with a bachelor´s in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. I absolutely love to experience other cultures and travel. I have a gypsy soul and just want to see as much of the world as I can.

I participate in whatever way I can and try to be as helpful as possible. I have surfed in several countries, and hosted or met with surfers when I have a stable place as well.

I also enjoy reading frequently. Fantasy books are my escape from reality, and inspirational literature keeps me going.

My goal for the immediate future is to use my newly acquired degree to teach English in a few countries. I am currently teaching in S. Korea and plan to spend some time in the Philippines and possibly S. America.

As I mentioned before, and can´t stress enough, I love a good book! I could be absorbed inside a novel for hours at a time, in a trance-like state, as the story unfolds it plays a movie reel in my head. I don't just see words on a page.. It's a wonderful experience, and a good book can even change the way you perceive your life, your opinions, and your views on humankind!
