About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living a life worth living; balanced with good energy all around

ABOUT ME

I'm good people, good company, doing my part to make good things happen.
I've renovated an old house, making music anytime, anywhere, unplanned travel (I usually buy the tkt the day before..), anything outdoors, rock climbing, snowboarding, guitar, sailing, mountain biking, motorcycle riding...
I love living in the present, allowing myself to not rush through anything. Those moments can happen anywhere; don't miss it.
Burning Man, the open ocean, Mexico, Cuba, Costa Rica are good places. In between these trips I also work for a bit in one of the most interesting places on Earth: The Emergency Room in a South Bronx Hospital...

PHILOSOPHY

I'm gonna learn to kitesurf soon. I decided that today. Two of my closest friends just told me that it takes me all day to do one thing because I truly live in the moment, and if I can experience something right now, right in front of me, I always will.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Besides experiencing other cultures by traveling to other countries, both alone and with friends, I also choose to live in the neighborhood unlike any I have ever experienced, finding community, culture and friendship in the south Bronx. I also help run a non-profit medical mission in Guyana, and have volunteered as a doctor in Romania, Jamaica, the Canary Islands of Spain, and a Native American Reservation in South Dakota...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I heard about CS from a 'professional' couchsurfer, who has traveled the world and met so many amazing people... I always tried to do the same thing on my own, which is so much harder... CS finds the right people for the right people!

Interests

I love the community and family feeling of sharing space with new people.. Shopping and preparing an amazing meal (with good wine of course).

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything that brings good people together. Black Rock City is the best example of this. Yes I watch, and listen, and read.

Teach, Learn, Share

If I can take you sailing you'll be at the wheel in no time. I'm wondering why they don't put a little bit of rice in the salt shakers in the Dominican Republic?
