About Me

CURRENT MISSION

The next big adventure... Get a life!

ABOUT ME

All about me! Thats a tall order!

I just got back home after 3 years of travelling around the world.

My next mission is to get on with my life, and try to find a way to make money, without having to work too hard to get it.

It would also be nice to find a job that I can run online, so I can do it anywhere in the world...

PHILOSOPHY

Life is there to be lived!

I want to learn to say "YES" to the universe, and all that it offers. This includes seeking out new experiences, new tastes and new people... I guess that is why I'm travelling the world...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meeting interesting people from interesting places...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met many couchsurfers in different locations, found it to be a very useful way to meet new people...

Interests

Travelling and experiencing new things... on a budget!

I love to dance, especially salsa, and given a chance will shake my stuff on the dance floor with the best of them.

In my quieter times (which are often), I like to read a book, or watch a movie. I also like to write, and have 3 blogs that I write in whenever I can...

  • books
  • dancing
  • dining
  • cooking
  • running

Music, Movies, and Books

There are a long list of movies that I consider to be essential watching. They range from nostalgic childhood favorites (The Blues Brothers, Star Wars, Ghostbusters), through edge of your seat action (the first Matrix film, Most Jet Li films, the LOTR trilogy), to modern day fairy tales (Big Fish, Forest Gump, Amelie) and a whole lot of others on the way...

Music would have to be anything with a beat that just makes me want move my feet!

Books, too many to list. I like Haruki Murakami, just discovered Salman Rushdie, Tolkien is always worth re-reading. Other books that have moved me are Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintanance, and lots of different buddhist books... My favorite books of all time are science fiction though! The Broken god by David Zindell and Vast by Linda Nagata are both sublime works!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most recent thing was jumping off a bridge in New Zealand...

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want to learn to dance, I can teach a little salsa for sure, though I am no expert!

I love to cook (and to eat) so would relish the chance to share some of my cooking skills, or just the food, with a host...
