ABOUT ME

I love reading, having conversations, traveling and basically discovering new things. I like to challenge myself and sometimes also others :) What I also like is to live spontaneously, make plans and then change them and live life to the max. This life philosophy gives many experiences. And I think all the experiences good and bad have helped me to become the woman I am today. And I am happy.

PHILOSOPHY

One day I'd rather regret things that I have done rather than regret the things which I haven't done.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to have guests over for chatting, having dinner together and advising places to go. I am not always the best at showing people around the city as this will depend on my mood. Some days I want to go out and have fun. Other days I just want to stay home and read.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a wonderful artist. Elizabeth inspired me. She really went for dreams. In Malta I met some nice person too. In Hungary I hosted a very nice couple who reminded me about the importance of joy in one's life.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music I prefer unknown artists such as Melody Gardot, Sophie Zelmani, Yuna, Brandi Carlile but I also like oldies like Sinatra or the Beatles.
Usually I prefer European or art cinema since often the films are more realistic about life. Some of my favourite movies are Zorba the Greek, Tous les soleils, A seperation. However, when I need a feel good movie I like watching Legally Blonde, Love actually or the sweetest thing :P
If I start talking about books I will never end. Grimus by Rushdie is a book that I found quite amusing. The art of loving by Erich Fromm is a book that I try to read every year. Then there is also The White Fang by Jack London. I love that book.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to the best carrot cake and vegan lasagna, I could teach you some yoga. We could chant together.
