ABOUT ME

I like stories and so i'm trying to pay better attention. I had a friend who tried to make every day of his life an adventure, i try to imitate him in that. I'm trying to find a balance between understanding and experiencing. More concretely: I like oranges, Russian, making burritos and exploring. I want to open a used book store in Ukraine and my good friend and I have a hostel here in Odessa called the Babushka Grand, so unfortunately it is a conflict of interest to host, but i'd love to show you around the city introduce you to people here, have you over for dinner and help in anyway that I can.

PHILOSOPHY

right now I'm pretty much in alignment with Kierkegaard's, Works of Love for how I want to act. I think the Pragmatists accurately describe how we create truth. I think that philosophy can help us see how to interact with problems efficiently and humanely. What I like about these philosophies is that they are permissive of everyone and everything, which seems important, critical even.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a job that was working 8 days on and 6 days off. For the first year I rented a house and had three to four people living on the couches and floors at all times. After the lease ended I've been moving from couch to couch of friends and people that lived with me before. It has been one of the most meaningful, exciting and informative periods of my life. Since then I have been hosting and been hosted traveling through Russia and Ukraine. It has been a very enriching experience for me.
