About Me

I am an untypical German, an untypical woman and an untypical 40+-year-old:

I am always late, I don't drink beer, I don't like techno or electronic music, I own only a few pairs of shoes - none of those are high heals, I don't like to wear lots of make-up, I hate dressing up, I don't have everything figured out yet, I still live a student's lifestyle, I use Instagram but I don't do stories or reels, I talk to animals (e.g. my cat), I don't want to grow up when it means to stop being childish and silly ^^, I hate creating unnecessary waste (e.g. to-go cups/plastic bags), I'm strongly against cigarette smoking or second-hand smoke, I am not religious, but I believe in some connection of all living beings, I love languages, being by the ocean gives me peace, I hate war and guns and the politicians that cause and enable them, I would love to fly into space one day or see the Uluru in Australia, I think public transportation should be free of charge everywhere...and now I'll stop or there won't be any surprise when we meet. ;)

PS: My real name is in the references - if you call me "coyote" I won't reply.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel, I like to meet locals to get to know their city through their eyes. This is what I offer my couchsurfers when I host them and that's what I would like to experience when I stay at someone else's place. :)

Free accommodation, of course, is also a great advantage of couchsurfing, but for that to work, you need to put on your best behavior. ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Safari in Kenya and learning some Swahili, backpacking in Mexico for 5 weeks, scuba diving in the Red Sea (Egypt) and the Caribbean Sea and cenotes (Mexico), raising my babies (kittens to adult cats).

Teach, Learn, Share

I used to love my city, but a lot has changed here in the last 10 years, so I don't enjoy it that much anymore. Nonetheless, I will take you to the places that I still love and we might even discover new things together. :)

I can teach you the basics of capoeira (or slacklining if you come in summer) or you can just come with me to the classes if you want. My newest passion is acroyoga or partner acrobatics.

If you are lucky there will be a jam session or singer songwriter live concert we can enjoy during your stay.
