About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Boosting up small villages in Nueva Ecija

ABOUT ME

I'm energetic and get thrilled to discover something new even if it seems insignificant to others like finding a new peanut butter brand I never heard of.
I like outdoor activities. I would go for it if you suggest anything to do even if I don't know what exactly is if that sounds fun :)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that:

all creatures in the universe are connected
there is always something interesting
beautiful colors make our life much much better

Interests

I like to work out especially running. I'm trying to get faster and better (I'm really just trying haha not quite there yet) at running and planning on my first marathon this year.

I appreciate designs for tools, furniture, and buildings. I'm not an expert, memorizing all the history of famous designers and architectures but I enjoy spending time in galleries, shops, and on reading books about it.

I'm a vegetarian - specifically vegan - which has been almost 4 years. I'm interested in animal rights as well as human rights. Different from what people usually think about vegan food, vegan food can taste really great, enjoyable, and satisfying. I enjoy finding new vegan recipe and try it out.

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to like brit-pop when I was younger such as Suede, Ridehead, Blur, Oasis and etc but now I listen to more hiphop somehow. Since two winters ago I've fallen in love with Nujabes.
If I pick up some books that I liked that would be novels by Bernard Werber, The Story of Romans by Shiono Nanami, and Franz Kafka's short stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered in India twice in 2008 and 2010, which were short-term volunteering. I met amazing people from the organization where I was involved and had great experiences with children I helped.

I came over to US to study under a dual degree program from Korea and could stay for three years, studying and working. I can't just put my finger on any specific memorable moment to say that was my amazing time but I'm certain that these 3 years contributed to who I am now in a way.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, France, India, Japan, Nepal, Philippines, Sweden

Countries I’ve Lived In

Ethiopia, Philippines, South Korea, United States
