About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'd like to be the dictator of a small tropical country. Preferably in the Carribean.

ABOUT ME

I'm into music, getting lost in cool places, meeting random people, spontaneous adventures, good books, and talking about whatever crazy thought pops into my head. If you're open to the world and new adventures, we'll get along just fine. If you're intellectually curious we'll get along great. If you're none of these things, but like beer, you're probably ok too.

PHILOSOPHY

Be original, let out your creativity, don't think about it and dont apologize for it. Loyalty, honesty, friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm right in the middle of Taipei, stay here and I'll show you around.

I also administer the Nantou CS group - if you're living here or just curious, join up!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a couple of awesome people through this site and tons of random people before I heard of it. I've been that random guy a few times too. Always positive.

Interests

Music, anything funny, riding my motorcycle in the mountains, international development, hiking, backpacking, good books, adventurous dining, wine, beer, coffee, tea, fashion, baseball, basketball, art and design (other people's, not mine). My friends and family. Anyone who can do something I can't, thats what makes people interesting.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to mention here, I read a lot and listen a lot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been mugged on three different continents.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: The head of the evil saint Maximon in Zunil, Guatemala is made out of a volleyball. This doesn't stop him from looking creepy.

Learn: I recently realized that I have to learn how to draw better when one of my kindergarten students drew a better elephant than I did.

Stephen Portnoy is a Golden God.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, China, Costa Rica, El Salvador, France, Guatemala, Honduras, Malaysia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Spain, Taiwan

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, Taiwan, United States
