ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty complex person who is very ambitious and career driven, I love music first and foremost, but I'm also passionate about art, fashion, film, literature, etc. You can learn a lot about me from my website where you can see my blog/tumblr, and all my many projects and artistic activities.

PHILOSOPHY

Well I suppose my general philosophy would be Live and Let Live, it's simple but often forgotten.
I live my life to create art, to try and make the world a better place through changing and inspiring.

I have had an amazing time surfing via the website and cannot thank all my hosts and CS enough for providing me with such an interesting and different outlook on cities I visited, it's so much better than a hotel!!
I don't have a house available to offer others just yet, but I am moving later this year and hopefully will be able to then.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is an absolutely gigantic category, some of my favourite artists at the moment are: The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Human League, The Horrors, Echo & The Bunnymen, The Drums, Cold Cave, Kate Bush, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, The Cure, and so much more - post punk, coldwave, ndw, italo disco, new wave, etc.

Movies is a new category for me, I'm trying to expand my field of interest with a new Netflix subscription. Some of my favourites so far have been: L'Age D'Or, The Discreet Charm of Borgeouise , Claire's Knee, Donnie Darko, Lars and the Real Girl, A Life Less Ordinary, Made In Sheffield, Dig!, Punk: Attitude, Quadrophenia, 24 Hour Party People, 200 Cigarettes, anything Jim Jarmusch.

Books...still so much work to be done! Some of my favourites: A Clockwork Orange, The Moon and Sixpence by WS Maugham, Catcher In The Rye, The Stranger by Camus, Amerika by Kafka, The Awakening by Kate Chopin, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Public Image by Muriel Sparks.

Teach, Learn, Share

Oh my, I have lots to share! I have an extensive knowledge of music, particularly british. I can make a yummy vegetarian meal on a budget. I know a lot about Apple computers, modern art, books and politics, and a bit about analog synthesizers. I have a dark style, but my disposition is generally sunny and I promise to be a very entertaining house guest.
