Hey!
My name is Hans and I was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Almost right after my birth, my Dutch parents adopted me to the Netherlands.

I studied trumpet and other brass instruments at the conservatory in Rotterdam. I moved to Trondheim (Norway) in 2015 to study a master in composition there. Now all the studying is done and I am working as a freelance musician and music teacher. Mostly I organize my own projects with music and children. I like to stay creative and impulsive.

One of my hobbies is photography (particulary wildlife photography). In general I am very much into nature. I also like cooking and sports. Not that I ever follow a recipe or am specialized in any sport. But I like to run around, stay active and create my own things ;).

I tend to have a vegatarian/vegan lifestyle and am particulary interested in history, human rights, environment and politics. Im quite a reflective guy, not the loudest, self aware, and very (very) curious.

When it comes to traveling/hosting/surfing I am always eager to get to know the persons I meet. Having a good conversation feels more rewarding to me than partying all night long without remembering a thing. Through Couchsurfing I have had the chance to travel through many countries and to establish some of my best friendships. Above all things this is something I want to pursue :).
