About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am currently looking to deepen my knowledge of yoga, natural healing and myself.
ABOUT ME
Out of Brooklyn, NY I am currently stationed in Lima, Peru. I like to meet new people in conversational situations. I prefer a glass of wine and conversation over a party and you can always tempt me to a board game or cards.
I do have a strong personality, but I am open to meeting all kinds of people. I'm really interested in meeting you and learning about your travels and experiences.
I am truely bothered, however, by men who use couchsurfing as a dating site and who make the women who stay with them or meet them feel uncomfortable with unwelcome advances. I have a very low tolerance for this sort of thing and in the spirit of honesty, I will let you know if you make me feel uncomfortable, both on couchsurfing and off.
PHILOSOPHY
I like to live and let live, I won't judge you if you live your life how you want to without hurting other people. I live my life in order to fulfill myself, and for me that means balancing wonderful people and alone time, finding out what exactly I can do and stretching my comfort zone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I lived in a Couch Surfing apartment in Lima, where, between the 6 of us, we hosted people from all over. Now I am traveling and surfing with wonderful people all over the South American cone.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted in Lima and in Brooklyn and surfed in Chiloè, Chile, Mendoza Argentina and Guayaquil, Ecuador. Twice I have had the exceptional experience of being able to surf the couch of someone who has already surfed mine and both times I came out with a wonderful friend. Arriving into the open arms of people who you once welcomed is a beautiful experience!
Interests
Academically - Linguistics, anthropology, history.
Otherwise - meeting new people, reading good books, staying up late and talking for hours.
I consider myself a pragmatic feminist, with no hard feelings towards men but no less passionate for that fact.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was having unexplained fainting spells including loss of vision for up to ten minutes at a time. A teacher of mine in Ecuador took me to Mama Concha in San Clemente where she used a Guinea Pig to diagnose my problem and herbal baths to fix it. I haven't fainted since.
Where the neurologists failed, traditional medicines prevailed.
Teach, Learn, Share
I just graduated from college with a degree that's not good for much besides speaking Spanish and having great conversations about Latin America, both of which I am excited to do with anyone interested.
