Become an assistant professor and travel around as much as possible in the meantime

ABOUT ME

I have been living abroad since 2007 for my masters and PhD and now I am back to Istanbul with my PhD, ready to become an assistant professor soon. I previously lived in Chicago and Toronto for my studies and did my best to travel as much as possible. I plan to keep doing research in the field of sustainable energy systems while teaching at a university and traveling around the world :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Having lived in three different countries (mostly by myself) I love meeting new people and exchanging some good stories. I usually live in small student apartments but I'd definitely do my best to help the CS community either by hosting or showing my neighborhood around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been a passive CS member for over 8 years. Time to be more active now. I look forward to making new friends here.

Interests

Traveling. Trying new things. Learning and teaching. I also like my TV shows although I feel guilty for watching a lot of them.
