ABOUT ME

Naomi is from a big city-Tokyo, Japan.
But I am starting to love and appreciate the simplicity of the country side.
Love hearing about other people's life lessons, their stories and experiences.

Bought a one-way ticket to Europe for last minute to take kitesurfing certification course, to meet up with her little brother who happened to be in Europe with a one-way as well pursuing his dreams in football.

Escaped the winter months and taught kiteboarding at the Red Sea in Egypt, 6 hours south of Cairo.

Besides teaching kiteboarding, Naomi does freelance work for entrepreneurs, web designs, and working on online projects.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meeting friendly people and learning more about their home cities and countries. Best to share some meals and quality time, making new friends and hoping to meet them again in another country!!

When I have my own place, I usually ghost as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience.....I was kind of "stuck" in Brazil alone, scary but Natali and Vito offered me their couch which saved my life! They introduced me to their whole family with BBQs by the beach, surfing, and wow, i love brazilian families! Thank you so much. That was my first experience I will never forget, and they are always welcome anytime wherever I am. Amazing friendships, are created through CS because people lend a hand to complete strangers in a different land!

Interessen

These days a lot of people are freelancing, living on their own terms, collaborating to launch purposeful projects.

My interests have grown from reading bloggers, online marketing, and social entrepreneurship.

I like hearing other people's traveling stories, especially stories gone wrong. Someone else's misery is someone else's humour. I think Mark Twain said something along those lines.
