Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined Couchsurfing back in 2010 when I was living in Kiev, and started with hosting. After that I moved to Germany, for 5 years shared my profile with my ex-boyfriend Eric, and we hosted a lot of wonderful people coming from all around the world. My next planned step is to host people in my new appartement in Frankfurt in order to have a nice time together.

Sometimes I go alone to Paris and enjoy being hosted from their Emergency Couch Group, because I love the idea )))

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have meet several bright people from cultures distinct from mine, and had learned different things from them: recepies of national dishes, life philosophy, attitude to things. I think CS is an amazing opportunity to share the cultural values and expérience the world's divercity.

Cinema (Emir Kusturica, Pedro Almodovar, Kim Ki Duk) theatre (mostly modern, not opera), music (Bregovic, Mylene Farmer, ZAZ, Rock, PaniValkova), literature (Bredberi, optimistic fantastic like Garry Garrison' 'Steel Rat' and short stories etc..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Slow trip trough the Nothern Italy (2010)
Crazy Southern Asia trip (6 countries in 30 days, 2011)
Riding a motorbike at Bali (the whole day!)
Riding a car at Bali (with right-side stearing wheel, left-side traffic, and numerous motorcycles around)
Night swimming in Dnipro river in Kiev
Drinking hand-made Bloody Mary at Odessa beach with friends
Packing the staff to move to another country in 2 days:)
Flying from Frankfurt to New York with only a lady bag in my hands ))
