About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to find a real home that I will actually be able to host peeps in - without asking for permission!

ABOUT ME

I'm re-writing my profile right now, FYI. Because I first wrote it and it sounded all stuffy - and I can promise you I'm not a stuffy gal! - so I'm gonna go for Round 2.

I love life. I LOVE meeting new people. I love what I'm doing, I love watching where my life is going, I love to see where other people's lives are going. I love to LEARN about what others are doing!

Umm, I love to talk about Energy. And feelings. I LOVE to talk about feelings. I love to hear about feelings... more important than WHAT you did, it's more important how did you FEEL while you did it? Ahhhh, these are the important bits.

And, officially? I have a Masters in Musical Theatre form London England (THAT was a totally rad experience!), and my ultimate dream is to spend half my time in Vancouver and half in NYC. NYC makes my heart go wild with love...

I'm also an Accredited Journey Practitioner, which is this form of mind/body healing, which has revealed itself as a truly deep passion of mine. So I talk about that a lot, when i get into my 'talking about spirituality' mode (can I put that as a hobby?) 2 years ago, I was in a car accident htat messed up my ankle, and threw me on this WILD spiritual journey,

Ummm what else do I write? i do lots of yoga, I love wine and Diet Coke and organic meals, I laugh a lot, I have a really awesome exciting life, and I know some truly incredible people, I chew with my mouth closed and I kick ass on Brain Age 2 from Nintendo DS

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. May all beings be happy and free, and may my own committment to happiness and freedom bring forth the happiness and freedom of you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I'm living with my family at the moment, I am sadly unable to offer a couch. HOWEVER, I promise I'll move out soon and the moment I do, that couch will make its way on this board, I promise that too!

Right now, I'm looking to travel, meet people, and just gain plain ol' experiences as a Couch Surfer making her way in the world. My participation will be as a guest looking to learn from whatever it is you have to offer, and offering whatever it is you want to learn!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I have met/connected with some great CS-ers in Toronto and Seattle.

Music, Movies, and Books

movies: I like silly movies that are surprisingly intelligent -- LIttle Miss Sunshine, Love Actually, Ferris Bueller's Day Off..
music - ani difranco, anything with a sick guitar line, fun dance music (will you judge me if I put Britney down?)
books - The Journey - Brandon Bays, Conversations with God - Neale Donald Walsch, A New Earth/Power of Now - Eckart Tolle, The Belgariad David Eddings, the Twilight Saga (you promised you wouldn't judge!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a year in New York City and London, England doing solely musical theatre. It made my heart incredibly happy.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share Journey processes - the healing stuff I do!
I can teach voice lessons, I can tap dance, I can make 3 loops with my tongue, I can engage in spirited debates about spirituality! Let's start one now!!

I'd like to learn what your specialty is. What makes you tick. What you most love to show off.

I'd like to learn more about making films, creating a sculpture, and how to organize time better. Oh, and how do they put the caramel in the caramilk bar?
