About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To cycle the SILK ROAD from China to Turkey -- 5,000 MILES to photograph 5,000 SMILES over 5 months for PEACE. Here's my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/silkPEACEcycle/?fref=ts

ABOUT ME

I believe in making a positive difference in this world.

I am independent, spontaneous, and intuitive but always with good intentions.

My greatest passions in life are to help people, contribute to making Okinawa a better place, and to continually learn about myself and the world.

PHILOSOPHY

1) Everything always happens for a great reason.
2) You're always at the right place at the right time, or else you wouldn't be there, you'd be somewhere else.
3) No regrets.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I backpacked through South America for 3 months to learn more about my cultural identity (Okinawan immigrants). I also went to South America in order to search for my distant relatives that immigrated from Okinawa, Japan to Lima, Peru before World War Two. By having an article published in the newspaper, and looking through the Lima telephone book - I found them! That experience reminded me, yet again, how important it is to know one's identity and personal history.
