ABOUT ME

FOOD, who doesn't like to eat?

Personaly i love it, I'm a Chef by trade, a Sociology (study of culture) major in college, and you put the two together and you get a person who loves to see how the two things work together all over the world. Traveling, eating, working in restaurants, and meeting new people is somthing i have enjoyed my whole life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

WOW,
living in Lake Tahoe California, was the home of basicaly 3 years of letting others "couch surf" my appartment non stop. living on a ski mountain was somthing not too many people get a chance to do, so why not share that with others.
As for me doing the surfing, i really enjoy seeing the good in people, getting welcomed in to a starangers home is always an honor and a warming feeling to know that there are like minded people out there.

Having my car break down in the center of australia (coober petty) and with in seconds of my radiator exploding was welcomed into a complete strangers home to stay for the night. That was probably the begining of couch surfing for me.

Interessi

THE REASON I LOVE COUCH SURFING!!!

Teacher: Cooking is a passion of mine and sharing food and knowledge is somthing we do every day. sharing your couch with me can easily result in dinner for you and your roommates, and if you want to learn a bit about it, please ask. if i don't know we will find out together because, because learning about the world (food world)is one major reason why i travel.

Student: (God i'm so basic and boaring), local towns, local restaurants, local flavors, and food markets are the things i always search for, somtimes never finding. Again this is why couch surfing is so important to me, locals are the ones who know the places to go and eat.
