About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to enjoy being a student of university & life

ABOUT ME

I'm addicted to chocolate, books, stories, yoga, firedancing (nature and elements in general), Bodypainting, languages and one day I want to have my own wingsuit.

I love nice chats, deep conversations and having a good time, randomness, and I admire everyone who found their passion in life and is really good at something, doesn't matter what that is.

I'm currently studying Mechanical and Process Engineering - yeah, there are some girls studying that! :p
I lived in the US for some time and I loved it, Colorado is my second home. And I got a third one: Queretaro, Mexico. Yay for exchange years!

PHILOSOPHY

It's not the years in your life that count - it's the life in the years!
And whether you think you can, or you think you can't: you're right.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Up until now I surfed some couches, thanks to that I met so many awesome people and had so many unforgettable good times. I love couchsurfing for that!

Currently I can't host (went back to my parents for some months) but as soon as I'm back to having my own flat couchsurfers will be welcome again.^^ I hope I can be an as wonderful host as the ones I had the pleasure to meet. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First welcome was a meetup with a few couchsurfers in Washington DC.
Then surfing in Denver, Santa Barbara, San Francisco and Santa Monica during my US trip - all of them great experiences and awesome people!! The trip to the Southwest the following year was even better. :)

Another time of surfing through France and Spain - Paris, La Rochelle, Baells, ... inspirational, fun and just wonderful!

Now my surfing changed the language - couchsurfing in México! Met the most amazing people in Oaxaca, Pochutla and Puerto Angel! :)

Interests

music!! I love dancing (Salsa, arabic, street, breakdance) and singing, and I play a little piano and bass guitar.
travelling, languages and other cultures (who would have thought... xP),
yoga, acrobatics, lots of bodypainting lately,
stories, dreaming, laughing, talking, getting lost (most of the times not on purpose, but I enjoy it)...
Food. Cakes and chocolate and anything else. I don't like cheese though. :p

Music, Movies, and Books

pretty much everything except horror movies and books.
Currently my favorite authors are Paulo Coelho and Sophie Kinsella.

Music... basically it's everything involving real instruments or is inspired by those. Punk, Rock, Folk, Funk, Jazz, Reggae and Reggaeton, after Mexico a lot of Salsa and Latin music - as well as musicals or classical music. I love rhythm :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

feeling alive is pretty much the most amazing thing I know.
And there were a lot of things making me feel like this - like going west on route 66 in a convertible, milking goats in the middle of nowhere in New Mexico, the first time firedancing at my second European Juggling Convention, spending a sunday morning looking for a pink bike when we just saw the guy who stole it, driving through traffic in Paris or Barcelona, celebrating my birthday with my best friends at the beach, living in the student dorm in Darmstadt with people from all over the world around, horsebackriding in the desert of Zacatecas, seeing babyturtles in Oaxaca, learning Salsa not through lessons but just dancing in a Bar... so many things I've seen and done!

Teach, Learn, Share

well... ever heard of Trüffel? I can teach you how to make those...
(it's chocolate and cream, what more can you ask for)

I'm a big fan of cooking, so if you host me or stay with me you'll most likely get some nice food! :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Lots and lots of stories. And food. I can teach you some basic Yoga and tell you random facts about stuff.
