Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My surfing experience thus far has been very positive; Complete strangers have opened their doors and welcomed me more than my extended family, which to me is an eye-opener at how truly wonderful people are. I believe CS is one of the best ways to travel. Nothing beats meeting locals and immersing yourself in culture, which is why I surf when I can and host to give back.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I quit my career in Florida, sold all my belongings, fit my life into a backpack and embarked on a solo 4 month journey across the globe. I fell in love in Thailand, which ultimately brought me to Colorado to continue the adventure.

I gravitate toward individuals who are open and stray away from the norm.
I enjoy conversations that do not include shopping or TV shows.
People who are passionate at what they do are inspirational.
As one of the youngest employees in health care, I have the opportunity to spend a lot of time with the elderly; I love learning about their life-long experiences and seeking out advice. One thing the older population always tell me is to see the world, for they wish they did so when they were young.
