ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Karrie and I am obsessed with traveling and want to literally go everywhere. My goal is to go to all of the continents (so far I've been to 3).

I am very friendly and love to laugh. I enjoy quoting television/movies/books and love it when people get what I'm saying. I get excited too easily, to the point where it was a criticism of mine at work. My boss literally said that I was "too playful"..like a puppy (I added the puppy bit). I love lame jokes and want to read every single book that people tell me I should read. I watch more television than what is considered normal. My phone is always dying so I have to carry a charger on me everywhere. I LOVE eating and I would always rather spend money on food than clothes.

I studied abroad for a semester in Norway and it was the 6 best months of my life. I learned and lived so much, I truly do miss all the friends that I made there.

I have hosted in the past, I look for couches now when I travel, and I've met up with people for coffee/tea!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very good!! All the people I have hosted have been really nice and great to talk to =] I was also hosted for the first time and went to a CS meeting and it was great!! Good times and experiences!

Interests

I'm obsessed with books, especially anything written in the 18th and 19th century, I love skincare and makeup, I enjoy baking even though I'm not that great at it, and photography is one of my passions. I also like to travel, and do it as much as I can (depending on my money situation). I love television and movies and try to watch as much as I can. I love attending broadway musicals, memorizing the music, and then belting it from the top of my lungs at a later time. I love sleepovers and getting together with friends to play games. I like dancing and playing Wii bowling! I also like to write letters and go all out by having stationary, wax, and a seal lol

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've gone pendulum jumping in Norway, skydiving in New Jersey, ziplining in the Philippines and many other fantastical feats at high altitudes. Last year I did a class at a trapeze school, got scared, let go of the bar and fell on the net getting rope burn down my face and cried like a child in front of my boss and co-workers. It was a stab at my dignity but still pretty amazing that I got terrified of that when I've done even scarier things in my lifetime.

Always carry on you antibacterial and a band aid. And if you have a big bag, include a bottle of water, a book, a journal and a pen.
