CURRENT MISSION

Meet people from all over the world, share stories and go with the flow 🐧

ABOUT ME

My website (French only) : lookingforserendip.com

Hi there! I'm a fun-loving French person who cherishes every moment. I believe in exploring the world without relying solely on money – seeking genuine experiences filled with effort and engagement.

I have never been career-oriented; I have never found happiness in the professional world (perhaps because I haven't found the right job idk …).

I'm not big on typical sightseeing or "must-see" attractions, unless it's something personal to you off the beaten path. Crowds make me feel like a sheep following the herd, and I'm not a fan of that. I prefer immersing myself in the daily lives of locals, going with the flow, and seeing where the journey takes me. 🌍✨

I was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome in 2016, but traveling has been an escape that helped me understand the world, myself and the people, overcome fears, and embrace the unknown ! Helped me socialize as well ! It's still quite unknown, and there are many stereotypes surrounding this syndrome. I know it's an unconventional traveler profile, but that's what makes it interesting, ahah!

Sometimes, I may feel tired, anxious, and uneasy, but I've faced numerous challenging situations during my travels or my daily life, and through them, I've come to know myself better 💪😄

I have the phobia of underground metro, crowded train or buses, but I’m working on it 😆

If I had to describe myself, I hope to be funny, friendly and welcoming. We must take the good side of life ! I try to be optimistic but that's really hard, I'm still learning.

I find joy in exploring the intricacies of the world and humanity, approaching them without divisions or preconceptions. My love for philosophy, geopolitics and history fuels this quest for understanding.

Now that you know all about me, don't worry—I'm friendly, no biting here! 😄

PHILOSOPHY

"Those who don't jump, will never fly"
