About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Experiencing life!!

ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing and dynamic girl who tries to live everything at the same time. Life is short and I cannot bear not being busy... I jump on all opportunities to experience new things and meet new people: this is how I like to live my life, and I will try to keep on this track!
I enjoy my crazy parties as well as my cozy evenings.
I try to be always honest with people and firstly with me. And as I really love to share talks and experiences, I am quite talkative! (who said that's bad?)
But stop this annoying "I"! And in the end, you will find out yourself which "face" of mine I give you!

PHILOSOPHY

Learning, learning, learning...

Books says a lot, people teach you even more.

I tend to be an ambitious girl, never really satiated of what I know and have.
I want to enjoy my life but it has to be shared with other people: it gives all its value to it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting other cultures and sharing my own culture. In the "past", I always tried to offer a very nice experience to the people who visited my town (nice food, nice talks, a place to sleep, a guided tour, a cool board game, whatever that would show up...). Since I've moved to México, it made it harder to me to keep my personal commitment.. I hope I'll soon be able to open my door again!

I am also fond of travels and what I found great with CS is that you can have a really fresh and authentic inside look. You are not only a tourist because you have the chance to share the view of a "local".

My studies offered me a lot of opportunities to travel (and live!) around the world and my eyes are still shining for these magic memories.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in Portugal and in Scotland which was really great! I had the same pleasure when hosting people from all over the world in Holland and in Normandy.
I have always tried to take my guests to find out what was the life of a girl like me in a place like Utrecht or Caen.
I also got pretty involved in local CS groups. For example, Utrecht has a very active group that offers many activities from Dutch class to Reiki or even a guiding tour in the city. I want to thank them for their kindness and their dynamism!!!
In England, Mexico and France, I met a few people that I contacted through CS and we shared a talk, a walk, a beer, a coffee and even a magic snow battle! It is very useful when you arrive in a place where you don't know anybody.

For me Couch Surfing is not just about traveling or hosting, it is all about meeting people and looking for likeness across our apparent difference!

Interests

Well, "many many many things" would not give you a lot of information...so let's try to quote some!

- Horse riding (definitely). I have a horse and I can hold talking hours about this subject (just to warn you! :p)

- Sport in general: Judo (I practiced it 12years), Basketball, badminton, Salsa, even Soccer.. I'm not really good but putting all my energy in it, I always have a lot of fun!

- Games (board games, card games..), well that's a huge part of my life!

- Music: rock, pop, blues, jazz, etc...'love live music! and I play a bit the piano..

- having fun with my friends (yes: it's not really original): partying, shopping, or sharing a cup of coffee while imagining a different world

- traveling (of course!)

- Arts: I used to study arts, so i am still quite interested in painting or drawing

Ah! And I love animals (would play hours with any cat or dog... or horse!). I like Nature and all it offers!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hate that kind of questions: I feel that I must experience so many new things...

- I went wild (on my own scale) when I quit the job of my life (boqrd game publisher) to go to México where my boyfriend was waiting for me. Instead of looking for a stable and secured job, I became a horse rider and horse riding teacher for a year.. another dream came true, it's was great to be paid to do what I most love in life!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I can share "all" I know, from a city tour, to a song of piano, lyrics of music, few words of French, a French recipe, the basic rules of drawing, techniques of horse riding or Judo, words of business topics, typical elements of the French culture...

I believe things are exchanged when it is the right moment... and the right person. But if you really want to focus and learn something from me: don't hesitate, I will do my best!
