I'm despaired to still receive so many bad requests which take me time to answer. My answer rate is normally 100% but I've recently been so fed up with copy /pastes that don't deserve proper answer that I just switched off answering on time!

I value interaction with the CSer's I host so that usually happens on the evening of arrival. Therefore I will refuse any arrival after 8 pm.

ABOUT ME

After 7 years in Geneva, Switzerland, and a few years of fascinating and regular travels to Asia, I decided to leave all behind and come to Hong Kong to find a job, experience living here. That's a wonderful place to live in (the energy, rooftop bars, the mountains, jungle, beaches...) but I couldn't find a good job, reason why I ended up in Geneva again, close to mountains and hiking possibilities.
I'm originally from Britanny near the Atlantic Ocean.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Initially, my brother explained me about Couchsurfing and I thought I should do it too. I got to host some people and surf some peoples' couch, and participated in various local events.
Discovering the braderie of Lille with couchsurfers and spending a week in Mallorca "off the beaten track", thanks to this website, was just fantastic.
Then the spirit of Couchsurfing somehow changed (what a pity!) and I've been using Couchsurfing a lot less. Also living in Hong Kong and in a small flatshare didn't help as I couldn't host.
