About Me

CURRENT MISSION

on my way to Philly!

ABOUT ME

I have dabbled in several different crafts such as photography, printmaking, sewing and crocheting, painting, i can't just stick to one thing. i enjoy meeting new people and trying out different scenes and getting into mischief. why not talk to random people on the street? this world is too disconnected, even with all the new technology, and that's why i love this concept so much, cheap way to bring people together who otherwise might never meet!

PHILOSOPHY

No matter how dark things get there's always something out there that will make you regain your faith in this world. You just gotta go out there and find it. And peanut butter with chocolate chip cookies and pretzels will cure any sad day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It's been a while since I've last couch surfed. Now I'm done with my undergrad, can't wait to get on this and travel again!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just took a quick trip out to Philly to check it out. It was really chill, had a great time. My next trip will be to Chicago in March.
Chicago was amazing and wonderful! Since I've been in school up until now, haven't been able to couch surf recently.

Interests

I enjoy sewing, crocheting, making jewelry, painting, photography, hosting dinner parties, watching a ton of movies, making sangria. I love used books. I tend to read 5 books at a time, really really slowly. I guess I lose interest and get bored so I move on to another one and then get back to the other one a year later, right from where I left off a year earlier. I would love to own a boutique and have other artists collaborate and create a community space. Really interested in the unification of psychology and art.

Music, Movies, and Books

foreign films, I love going to independent film festivals, Fight Club, Trainspotting, The Shinning, Swingers, Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark, guilty pleasure are the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I like Nikka Costa, she's got a jazzy, bluesy, rock thing going on. Totally danceable. Handsome Boy Modeling School, Portishead, Kings of Leon, Muse, Aqualung, Damien Rice, Elliott Smith, The Darkness, Queens of the Stone Age, Queen (obviously!),Radiohead. Any David Sedaris book cracks me up. Whenever I'm in a dark mood I read the Pit and the Pedulum by Edgar Allen Poe, I never get tired of it. Non-fictions that deal with psychology and controversial issues such as religion and atheism.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm, amazing things. I'd like to think that I lead an exciting life but it's mostly work and school for me now. The Gaudi Park in Barcelona, Spain really astounded me, it is so beautiful. I'm sure there are other things but can't think of them right now.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to share my interests with others and helping them learn how to do it themselves such as art stuff, even tho I may not be a master at it. I always like to learn something new especially if a friend joins me. I'm in a sculpture class now and hope to take a ceramics class next. Going on long walks are one of the best ways to meet someone for realz.
