About Me

CURRENT MISSION

meet artists, collectives, and sustainable communities for collaboration!

ABOUT ME

inquisitive of nature.

PHILOSOPHY

We are alive to feel, to sense, to flow... less rushing, more skipping. Better: Dance!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i've hosted several couchsurfers at each of my cooperative living spaces in santa barbara, bands, and visiting friends and relatives. I'd love to meet elders and adopt a grandmother!

While living in Austin, Texas, hosted a bunch of lovely visitors from the east coast.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I tend to be overly hospitable, so I'm learning how to chill out about it all, in deporting the crumbs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

biking oregon in autumn, descending down the oregon coastal range and crying while it rained in complete nirvana and purity and ecstacy. waterfalls in oregon. barefoot hiking in the sierras and the grand canyon. biked the aufderhiede in central oregon, spotting permeating yellows-- leafs and leafs, and gathering them in and about Cougar Hot Springs (another time the sky was sifting snowflakes down on our warm pond lips). spiraled into garden home of insect-digesting bluby plants, californica draconia, after tunneling through a disappearing ascending staircase of twine and moss, where humans transform into moles. hula hooped with a beautiful luthuanian with laughter so contagious I may gasp, and gasp, and GASP!

Teach, Learn, Share

see new! make new! cook, dance, write, sing!

Urgency: practice conversational Spanish, Portuguese; learn tango, syncronized partner hoop (lyra) dancing, rock climbing, banjo songs, accordion, lace knitting, herbal remedies, more frugality of travel.

I can teach you about seeing, perception of words, vegetarian soups, baked goods, how to tie knots, sew, make a book, start a compost pile for your organic garden that we'll make. And you know, we can reuse almost anything. I can help you fix some things on your bike; my favorite stretching routines, how to coreograph a dance.

We can always learn about ourselves, from what we see in others.
