Moving from a little town in Morocco called Asilah was a totally worth it experience. I first started comparing every little thing between the metropolitan city and my hometown.

I’ve been hosting since 2008 and I was the first one to introduce Couchsurfers from all around the globe to my hometown by offering them the full experience that includes food, tours, and other unforgettable moments with the locals. As a result, seeing a place through the eyes of a local has always been my motto. Also, being a member at Couchsurfing, literally helped me learn a lot about our world just by being stuck in my little town. Meeting people from different cultures, race and traditions helped me realise and learn a lot about the outside world such language and its association with culture, gastronomy..etc

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a member of Couchsurfing since 2008, and I, personally think that I am lucky to have been because of meeting them beautiful people, visiting wonderful places, and having unfortgettable experiences which did open my mind to the world.

Therefore, I am on Couchsurfing as a host to have Couchsurfers at my place, show them around, and let them see and enjoy my town Asilah and the surroundings . However, as a surfer, I would love meet new people from those places that I am visiting because staying at a hostel is rather boring than meeting a local person whom will make me discover things that were not mentioned on the guide-book or even become real friends.

It was a lovely idea to start using Couchsurfing, thus I would definitely recommend it to everyone and anyone.

I play the guitar since 2010, and I also play a little bit of Cajon aswell.
I like going to concerts, festivals, nature, villages, exhibitions, exploring new people, new food, new drinks (spirits and white wines especially) and new ways to have fun.
