Music, Movies, and Books

just about anything so far, just not country or for the most part mainstream music: Radiohead, Tan Lines, The Nationals, Beatles, Wilco, Cut Copy, Tycho, Bag Raiders, Brian Eno, William Basinski, Air, Mum, Sigur Ros, Bibio, Debussy, Beck...and so on.
movies, anything that makes me think or inspires me.
books, love books. the first think i would invest in my house.
Currently reading The City of Quartz.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving up Mt. Mitchell in the Appalachian Mountains on summer night. Through the arcades of massive trees over the gravel path we climbed up the summit. The headlights slowly revealed the trees ahead of us while simultaneously they faded behind us. With Sigur Ros playing in background, this was truly a spiritual experience...

Teach, Learn, Share

many reasons people don't recycle or care for the environment is them not being able to see beyond the bubble of their daily life and how their actions can affect the earth. Yea it's one person and what that person does doesn't have noticeable impact. But multiply that thought by a million people!
