Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I plan on participating by being a host, meeting members (those traveling to Ottawa, those that I meet while traveling, local members) and by couch surfing.

I met a couch surfing member from Belgium while traveling in Western Canada and she introduced me to this concept.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2008, for two weeks, I backpacked through different regions of Costa Rica. I saw amazing tropical scenes and met wonderful people along the way.

What have touched me the most were seeing a newborn child and the strength & wisdom of someone close to me in this person's last days after a sudden illness.
