ABOUT ME

I LOVE PEOPLE, cooking with friends/family, exploring, and getting out of my comfort zone. Many things make me happy and I always try to turn things into an adventure. I either talk a lot or very little because I'm just trying to listen and observe and take in all this huge world has to offer. I'm very easygoing and can usually roll with anything that's thrown my way. I'm a curious critter and tend to ask a lot of questions about everything. I'm not very good at writing summaries about myself it's a lot easier to meet me and see how awesome I really am : )

PHILOSOPHY

I'm just living my LIFE one day at a time. I take things as they come and try not to let anything bring me down. Things happen often in our lives that are beyond our control and its how we grow from these struggles that make us who we really are. Treat people how you would like to be treated. Also I feel positive thoughts and energy get you a long way, so I try to surround myself with positive people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host whenever I am home and surf while traveling. I also like to meet up with the CS community doing events and what not wherever I go.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Random events and cool people. I enjoy just being around total strangers then chatting and getting to know them and feeling like you've met a friend for life in such a short time it's an amazing feeling.

Interests

People,books ,FISHING,flying choppers, the entire universe, sex,food/cooking,music,dancing like no one is watching, stand up paddle boarding,art, learning about different cultures,skateboarding,making people smile,climbing, wrestling my friends,anything outdoors, hanging out with good people drinking beers, learning something new and making the best from any situation. I dunno everything interests me- YOU! ya you reading this you interest me.

Music, Movies, and Books

too many to list but off the top of my head- Shantaram(one of my favs), Catcher in the rye, Wasteland, Book thief, Tweak, Choke, Kite runner, Jitterbug perfume, In the heart of the sea,On the road, and whatever else I can get my hands on. Music: Not too picky anything with a good beat. Music brings up memories of good times I've shared with beautiful people all over and lets me relive those memories every time I jam out. MOVIES: Newsies, Boondock saints, snatch, Big fish, 180 degrees South...ehh too many to list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well on the top of my list is learn to fly a helicopter. It was the most amazing thing when I soloed and I was sole manipulator of those controls. Flying above everything is breathtaking and empowering. I've sat in the president's seat in a presidential helicopter of Marine One...Witnessed some wicked storms and beautiful sunsets : ) I've commercial fished in Alaska for several years and can go on and on with sea stories.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can fly a R-22 Robinson Helicopter.. I can share some awesome fishing stories from my work on fishing boats in Alaska. I love learning a little bit of everything, so I'm sure you've got something to share with me that will tickle my fancy. Teach me something PLEEEEASSSEE my brain is thirsty for your wisdom!!!!
