I used to be a purple fairy... Now I wear less purple, but I still like fairies, who makes the life so beautiful.

I am open minded and social, but I often have difficulty - being a bit shy - to make the first step in meeting, talking to people, but as well as I passed the first contact I am talktive and easy going, mostly.

I went to some social events and Stammtisch with viennese CS, it was nice.
started tango dancing through CS workshop and matinees
been hosted once in Napoli and hosted once in Vienna

Interests

I like my work and in general questions of migration and international protection, and I wish there were less boarders. I sometimes also wish I had study law, but I am for now to lazy to start all over again... maybe later.

I am learning and practisicing non violent communication since about 5 years and this has become a very important of my life and my values, and I am trying to bring my every day life in accordance with these values.

I like to go out to dance, since dance is vital for me. My favorites are all kind of couple dances: salsa and co, tango, waltz, chachacha, as well as folklorical dances and modern Israeli dances.
And I also like to hang out and chat with friends in a nice and chilly cafe. I like also to play games (cards, board games, etc.)

I like to travel around and discover new places. I like to go to the movie, the exhibition whatsoever. I love when I undergo something or I discover something new which is making me feel good, surprised and enthusiastic.

I have big special interessed for the middle east: the region, the people, and the arabic language.

I also enjoy good food and good wine, eating and cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like 'author films', film from or about the middle east countries, film based on real stories, which give an idea of some events or pasted times, and also - good - love and romantic stories. Somes of my favorites movies are "Frida", "Ararat" or more recently "Caramel" which is a touching film and "Waltz with Bashir" which is hard but really well done, etc.

I like world music (arabic, indian, celtic, ect.), and french chanson (because I like critical lyrics), as well as some pop. For partying I like the funny 80s and any easy listening, but too much house or techno.

I like novels almost any kind, even if I have a preference for historical novels, which an insight in real events. One of my favorite of all time is "The dark side of love" from Rafik Shami.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My experience of the European Voluntary Service was very big and revelating for me. It was in Vienna.

My internship in Jordan, working with mostly iraqi refugees was also really intense and I learned a lot. During that time I also travelled around (Syria, Lebanon, Israel and Palestine) mostly alone, and I had only good experiences!
