About Me

CURRENT MISSION

finding a way of feeling challenged, satisfied and content in travelling AND being (here)!

ABOUT ME

I don t like describing myself, but I ll do my best:
I like positve thinkings, but love to analyse and to be philosophic. I hate superficiality and small talk, but I know though you have to do it sometimes, mostly I don t. I like changes and appriciate people who are brave enough always to find the next step and a good change in life like in profession, activities or places to go. I always need something new. I need a challenge and alternatives in life. I can t find enough sports I wanna stick to or at least I wanna try. I built a house with my fahter and own a flat, but decided now to live in a room with to flat mates and see the problems I had before from a different point of view. I rented out my apartment and moved. I tried skydiving, quad driving, bungee, climbing, rafting, had an education for paragliding and enjoye skiing until I had a terrible accident. I love music and martial arts, diving and to be outside. I really love the summer, the heat and brightness. I hate winter when you are captured at home and restricted in your ideas. I love the night. I often have to work during the night and like it, although I miss the daylight when I sleep the next day :)
Usually I like my job in the police force, but there are hundreds of moments where I hate it.
I don t think I m a really typical german police man who could have a reputation described as bureaucratic, conservative, law-abiding and maybe bourgeois, what I really hate.

Not only once a week I am a chaotic confused guy who likes to dream and to be enthusiastic about new ideas. When there s something in my mind I wanna do it however it sounds ridiculous or crazy to others.

In another way I need steadyness. I m not a nomad and not a real crackpot, just sometimes a roamer. I still know when it s enough and when it s time to enjoy.

My dream I had in my mind ended last year in May when I finished my world trip. I heard that is possible to take a half sabbatical as a policeman in Germany and did it. I decided to study before living, put some pressure on myself and passed all exams a few weeks before I wanted to go. To requite myself I planed my trip and started to travel through 18 countries in 8 months. To be honest there were enough moments when I wanted to return coz I felt lonely and powerless but in the end I was very glad and content that I continued. After my trip it was hard to jump back into real life, but now I arrive slowly. Again full of new ideas like writing a book about about my emotions and experiences I had to see that I have to fight with the changes in my job and that you can t change everything you would like to change.
