One amazing experience was living in Valencia, Spain and witnessing the celebration of "Las Fallas" a traditional party of that region. Beautiful statuaries are burned in the streets with a great celebration of life. Building these statuaries takes more or less one year, they are a great work of art, often refer to politics and the best one gets a price and will be placed in a museum. All the others are burned during this great party throughout the city with lots of booze, dancing, fireworks and zest for life.
