About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Bridging the gap between the commercial and spiritual world

ABOUT ME

I am an ordinary down to earth person. I enjoy my Gym,Yoga, Table Tennis, Giving and receiving Massage, cooking and a lot of parties and dance.

I am ethnically Indian, politically Australian, socially Brazillian and by heart citizen of the world. The world is my hometown. So if you are from this world, we are from the same town. Love receiving CRs and meeting CSers.
Can get along with almost anyone.

PHILOSOPHY

I love making a positive difference. Whether its on my own life, other's life or the environment. Rather than looking and thinking that "Grass is greener on the other side", I take care of my grass to make it greener.

Hate "toll road","slow computers" and "experts". Why do I hate "experts" ? Once you define yourself as an expert, opportunities to learn cease there. I meet a lot of "experts" in my daily life and feel they have mostly stopped using common senses. One example from real life:
A friend of mine dragged me to "Landmarks" introductory session. We were introduced to an "expert" in "Active Listening". She talked about active listening for 45 mins on the stage. There were more than 100 people actively listening to her. Once she finished her presentation, she had a few course start dates flasing on the screen and she started informally interacting with her active listeners. My friend introduced me to her. The "Active Listener expert" asks me which date suits me to start the course. I said "31st Feb". She says "Hi 5" to me. I had to specifically tell the "Activel Listener Expert" that 31st of Feb is not going to come in my lifetime. She felt embarassed because she was surrounded by her audience who was actively listening to her.

I believe we all are common man and common woman. We are all liable to make mistakes. Anyone can be challenged by anyone. If you are up for a challenge(mental, physical, spiritual or emotional)or like challenging people, I would love to meet you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted a lot of people in Australia and Brazil.Organized a lot of events(Theme Parties, Massage training,Silent Disco etc) for CSers. Met some great people on the way.
Now I live in Melbourne...again. Its an amazing place to be. Its so different for tourist (Who think that its all about Great Ocean Road)and for locals(Who think its a very relaxed, friendly and a community based multi-cultural base). Anyways, I am happy to show you the locals view of the place if we get to hang out. I would most likely take you to festivals, communities parties, house parties spiritual events etc.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All great experiences so far.

Interests

Love writing: Working on my book on relationships
Massage and healing: Love making change in mental and physical conditions of people and help them reaching a balance.
Cooking, dancing, adventure..seems list is endless. Basically I am among people who live every moment rather than waiting for a particular time to enjoy life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love Latin music
More of a writer than reader.Writing on relationships at the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have encountered death at least 3 times so far in my life and still alive...One of the experiences was while I was exploring mountain peaks in Garhwal region of India, crossing 16km of glacier and then was trying to climb up. We were just two of us. As we started climbing up, massive hailstorm started. Big pieces of ices started coming towards us from all angles. We could see ourselves dying. It was afternoon already and we had to make a decision on how we want to die keep climbing up or start going back. We were around 20 km from the place we started and had no clue how far up we had to climb to reach the next town. Temperature was going down very quickly and night was not too far away. Soon it was minus 2 degree and we were running to save our lives. We went downhill, then crossed 16km of glacier, falling down many times on the way. Our fingers became numb because of the exposure to cold for very long time. But finally we saw a light of hope. An English couple was camping at the end of the glacier, they had fire, coffee and food and we celebrated our survival.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been teaching and learning all my life. specifically, I teach massage, teach exercises (I have background in fitness), I also teach simple and intimate excercises which helps in building trust with your partner, improves communication and helps in sustaining relationships.

I love to learn opinions of people, specially when people disagree with my opinion. If everyone agree with what I say, there will be no learning and growth for me.
