ABOUT ME

I was born in Poland, but I've lived all over the world. I recently packed my car and drove 3000 km from Copenhagen to Porto, in 2½ days. And then, after living 3 years in Porto i packed my bags and drove to Poland, through 9 countries. Since, I've moved to Dubai where i organize tours/trips to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the entire UAE. I'm outgoing, friendly, generous and relaxed, with a nice batch of humour on top of it. The more i'll write here, the less i'll have to say face to face, so lets just conclude that Im an interesting character that you might end befriending for years to come. ;-)

PHILOSOPHY

I want tomorrow to be the day where i learn more than I did today. I'm thirsting for knowledge, information, inspiration, anything that will get the creative juices flowing. Recently I've made a vow to learn one new language every year. I'm relaxed, easy going, but I'm a deep thinker. I don't believe that ignorance is bliss rather it's a curse. I'm curious, and want to explore the world, even if it means through other people without actually physically going to a destination. I know that every person has their own story to tell, and if you take 5 minutes of your time to listen, you might learn some amazing things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been opening my doors and lending my couch/spare bedrooms to friends and visitors from around the world for years until I realized there's a website created for this purpose. Mi casa es su casa.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I once had 6 people staying over at my place, each one on their own bed, it was kind of a on-going party while they were there. I've also stayed at many friends places while I've been travelling around myself. Since coming to Porto, I've had many couchsurfers over from all over the world, and enjoy taking a bigger part in the community. But after moving to Dubai, i am working a lot and got married, so I'm not possible to offer a spare room/bed anymore. Maybe that will change if i move to something bigger, but for now, not possible.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Well... acted as a dancing bodyguard on stage at the Hollywood Bowl in front of 18000 people, sailed on a yacht everywhere in the Mediterranean and in the Indian Ocean, climbed alone all the way up to Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh at 2 at night in complete darkness to look at the sparkling city below me, drove through the entire length of western Europe in almost one go, and then did it again 3 years later. Moved to Dubai and did things many only dream of doing... I tend to do many interesting things :)

I've led an interesting life, been many places and met many people. Some of those events are bound to have rubbed off on me, and through everything I've experienced, I've learned to appreciate the world and everything around us much more.
