About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To come up with a mission statement that is SO brilliant, it will just blow everyone away! :D

ABOUT ME

**I am currently traveling at the moment! Please take the time to read my profile before sending me any requests! :(**

I was born in Hollywood, raised in Orange County, and have lived in various cities around the world. I don't smoke, but I don't mind if you do. I don't take life too seriously. I'm a humorist to the fullest degree. I love the great outdoors. Hiking, jogging, swimming, biking and such is exciting to me. However, I can't say I'm not a fan of a nice eatery or lounge/club with good music. I also enjoy learning new languages.

I am a bit of a’ gypsy with a big heart. Though I don't cheat or steal, I can & WILL dance & do magic tricks! I'm an adventurous spirit that you'll rarely find in one space for long. I absolutely LOVE exploring, and you'll usually find me talking about some remote place in town I've discovered that day.

I smile when there's nothing to smile about, I cry when everyone else is too ashamed to, I hardly ever make sense to anyone normal, I dance even when the only music playing is in my head, I love my piano, I write or paint when the rest of the world is sleeping, and I always manage to make this life feel as luxuriously amazing as that of a Queen's. That's me. Call me immature. Call me naive. I live Large. And quite frankly, I'm suspicious of those who don't. :)

My biggest passion is traveling and learning about different cultures and meeting new people who expand my mind. Because of this, I don't consider myself an average traveler. I tend to like exploring the local life of where ever I go, rather than gravitating towards the "famous sites" like mosts tourists. (That's not to say I don't like indulging in a typical tourist photo!) Spending time with friends, meeting new ones and exploring my horizons are most important to me.

In 2008, I drove from California to New York and everywhere in between, and I must say, it changed my life. I've since been to many other places, but that was the trip that started it all. I wish I had found out about this site sooner! I hope that this year I am able to explore other parts that this beautiful world has to offer. The world is so much greater than the walls of our towns, and I am excited to finally get out and become a part of it!!!!!

PHILOSOPHY

Believe those who are seeking the truth. Doubt those who find it. ~Andre Gide

I am a part of all that I have met. ~Alfred Lord Tennyson

Sometimes it's necessary to go a long distance out of the way in order to come back a short distance correctly. ~Edward Albee

Think with your heart. Love with your mind. ~My Business Teacher

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've attended many CS events and am always open to giving tours of my city as well as give valuable insight to the culture here! Yes, even big urban, American cities have culture! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My CS experience has truly been unforgettable. I've met some of the most amazing people I've ever known and it never ceases to amaze me how serendipitous finding this site has been for me. I hope to continue having and sharing this wonderful philosophy for many years to come. <3

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2008, I drove by myself across the country to confess my love for a boy that moved away. It was quite a crazy experience. I visited friends the whole way to NY and experienced all the scenic beauty that America has to offer! It was AMAZING. And I'm glad rational thinking didn't stop me, because I wouldn't take back that experience for the world! :o)

I only wish I knew of Couchsurfing then!!!

In 2009, I went to the Cannes Film Festival! I absolutely fell in LOVE with southern France!!!

Summer of 2009, drove from Orange County, CA on PCH, all the way up the Golden Coast to Canada! Good times! :)

Where will my insanity take me this year?! ;p

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyone has something to teach, just as everyone has something to learn. Personally I have much to learn.

However, I can offer you Spanish lessons, teach you how to play Chess, teach you English if it is not your first language, show you around L.A. or orange County, or San Francisco, or San Diego...or anything else I know that you might be interested in!! :o)

I would love to meet someone who could teach me a foreign language (or help me practice my French or Tagalog!). I also would love to learn to play the guitar! (I have been putting that off for far too long!) Anyone who can teach me to ride a vespa would be just dandy too :p
