ABOUT ME

I lived the first half of my life "Full Throttle", "Peddle to the Metal", wide open to experience everything I could imagine and allot I couldn't or shouldn't have! That has changed a great deal in the past 25 years, started traveling to center myself, regain what was lost in an insane youth.
Cursed, possibly? Blessed! most assuredly! that's life! and what a life it has been, After all! I'm here, alive and enjoying it! Having grown up in the '60s & 70's in and around L.A. and California was a blessing especially if a person were into music, which I was. I saw and experienced so many of Rock, R&B, Blues, and Country legends performing in intimate small clubs and other venues. Truly an incredible part of my living experience.
I'm a very laid back individual that loves chatting to almost anybody... If you don't talk to people how do you learn anything?
Love the adventure of traveling, new experiences, and meeting people. That's what it's all about! I believe it is! What do you think?
While seeking indigenous wisdom in Ecuador in 2002, I met the love of my life, Jenifer. I tell people we are the "Brad and Jenifer" that are still together.
Most that meet us us believe we have been together all of our lives,
I am the talkative one, she's more reserved, cautious and cool. Unless she is enjoying a good brew...then she relaxes and opens up a bit!

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sorry to say life has a way of changing your directions so haven't been able to CS for a few years now. No longer have to care for mom, now we must deal with her estate.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We were in Dublin on Sept. 29th 2009 and made Tuesdays at the Purty Kitchen CS event met a number of travelers from all over, enjoyed a few pints, some good food and new friends! We continued our European holidays in Amsterdam and Germany where I caught a cough that didn't want to leave me be! We visited with friends in Germany but because of my illness decided not to visit with our CS connection in Berlin, Thank you for the invite Katrina!! Possibly another time?

Interests

Cars new, old, kustom and hot rods will always be an interest, Music, Art, Literature, just curious about allot of unexplainable weird stuff! Shaman, indigenous healers, the Andes, We have traveled into the depths of the Amazon stayed with incredible people while there. Found the love of my life on one such adventure! She will have to post her own story....hopefully?

Music, Movies, and Books

Love Sci Fi, Star Trek both old & newest versions! Fringe, Warehouse 13, Eureka, FarScape, I don't read many books now a days, I leave that to my wife. Jenifer is the reader. We have quite a library of medical, self, history books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited with the Shuar of Ecuador, can't say that was amazing, Incredibly Fantastic would be better words! Experienced ayahausca visioning and healing from a Shaur shaman, experienced healings from shaman in the Andes of Ecuador and Peru, and Brazil. Had a life changing experience while there. Gotta mention visiting "John of God" in Brazil, too. Very enlightening!
