ABOUT ME

I'm energetic, positive, young at heart, and am a social butterfly! ;) Love trying new things and going new places. I'm a taster of life, food, and experiences! I've got major wander lust. I've been to a multitude of different countries and all 50 states. I chucked it all in 2013 and my old dog and I hit the road to see America, first tent camping, then in the 1968 Shasta camper that I renovated. My sweet, old dog passed away after seeing 48 states. After spending all of my savings, I returned to Dallas and landed a job that will allow me to work and travel a few months of the year! Isn't it amazing what can happen when you just embrace life as it is?!

PHILOSOPHY

We're all perfectly flawed. Accepting those flaws in ourselves is the hardest thing to do and one of our largest tasks.

Beyond that, DANCE. I haven't met anyone who dances freely that isn't HAPPY!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to meet travelers to my city and host as often as I can. The new friends I've made from all over the world through Couchsurfing is an amazing and beautiful thing! It's also opened the door to new friends here locally!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted 4 people in my home in March 2010..that was my first couchsurfing experience. I've since hosted many others and have surfed worldwide. It rocks!

Other than that, the information available, the kind people, and the camaraderie on this site has reminded me that we CAN trust complete strangers if we just open our minds.

Skydiving! It rocked! So I did it twice!!

Hiked the plank path (the side of a cliff) on Mt Huashan, China!

Hiked Rainbow Mountain and the Salkantay Pass to Machu Picchu in Peru!
