From when we used to host :)
Now we have many changes in our life, we can't provide you any couch for a while !

To potential guests : Please, read our profil ! We picked English as a commun language and if you re French, please make an effort to read in English as you would understand couchsurfing is international or don't request :)

This profil used to be mine at the first time but after our trip to Italy, I added Thomas on it, as I bet to make him enjoy this way of travelling, and ... MISSION SUCCEEDED !!!

In life, in general, I m an animator for morning caryoons on tv show, I used to be in an art school, then I lived in Hungary for one year as an EVS volunteer in a very small place, I was making video for a youth international association...
Thomas is a 3D animator, studied many things like art, web, 3D and Angoulême don t have any secret for him ! He would be very glad to show you around !!!
We both like to laugh, I think we're kind of funny, we like animation movies, cinema in general, comics and playing board games. We try to adapt ourselves to our hosts and guests, and we re very curious and carrying about them !

If you want to come, I m just insisting on the fact that we are not a free hotel ! We will share meals and time happily with you but we expect you to participate (I must say that due to a bad experience !)

There are some festivals here and you re more welcome to request for it ! Acually that s what we thought we could host for !

For the INTERNATIONAL COMICS FESTIVAL, we would be able to take LAST MINUTE REQUEST ONLY, friends and family often ask to come on this period, and of course they come first !

Les ETUDIANTS qui veulent venir pour passer les CONCOURS DES ECOLES d'Angoulême sont les bienvenus, nous comprenons les coûts que ça implique mais nous attendons de votre part une contribution a la vie de tous les jours, nous ne sommes pas un hôtel pension complète ( éclaircissement du a une mauvaise expérience !)

We enjoy meeting persons wherever they are from, whatever they like, we really enjoy couch surfing for that, and also because it s a new way of traveling which gives everyone the possibility to visit whatever city they find a good host in and meet curious people sometimes but nice ones in general as they belongs to this community ;)!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I (Marie) began to travel and to surf in the same time, during my EVS period in Hungary !
I surfed with friends, I surfed alone, I met couch surfers from everywhere !!! I just had coffee, I slept on the floor, I slept in beds, and once, I just waited for my host to appear... Never did !

Actually I try to respect as much as I can this favour you make to me, and adapt myself to your habits... I m just sorry to be sometimes so tired that I cannot last so long in the evening, or to get lost when night is down ... And I won t lie to you, we re not party killers anymore !!! But i always enjoy to chat or to follow you in your best places !

Thomas is just joining me on couch surfing and we already hosted and couched together, we seem to have the same behaviour and feeling concerning what this website offers to travellers !
