PHILOSOPHY

During my time on this planet I was lucky enough to meet a lot of people and not just locals...but people from all over the globe. It gave me a clearer view on the world...it opened my eyes.

It also created a desire to see more places, meet more people. This is Couchsurfing: making people realise that if you'd have to do one thing in your life...it's exploring our world.

Interests

Most of my interests are based on what I see or hear.

Seeing: photography. Setting a scene either with shapes or colours.

Hearing: music. Besides listening throughout the day I also like to hit it. The drums that is :)

The things above are usually combined with an obsession for their technical and scientific background. Knowing how things exactly work gives me full control over them. I like that.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music (in no particular order): Porcupine Tree & side projects, Pink Floyd, Pain of Salvation, Riverside, Ayreon, Dream Theater, The Gathering, Rush, Oceansize...

As you can see I enjoy complex music where every note has it's place and every word it's meaning. These bands are just 1 step above the rest :)

Film: I like visually interesting films (see photography) with a complex storyline mixed with a nice soundtrack. If I have to point out one genre of film I hate it would be "Romantic Comedies"

Ow, before I forget: I'm not all that serious about music when I go to parties. Usually I'm quite happy with some nice electro or IDM beats.
