ABOUT ME

I'm currently living in DF. Leaning Spanish and experiencing Mexican culture. I spent most of 2011 traveling around South America and part of Europe. But i fell in love with the latin culture, which is why i've returned to this side of the world.

I enjoy learning about and meeting people from different cultures and think Couch Surfing is the perfect way to do so!

I am interested in design, photography, art, fashion, popular culture and media. I am currently freelancing as a graphic designer, and hope to gain some valuable inspiration through my travels and meeting amazing people.

I'm easy going, enjoy meeting new people, and experiencing what life has to offer!

PHILOSOPHY

I enjoy learning about and meeting people from different cultures. I think one of the most important things in life is learning about others and being tolerant and appreciative of people's differences.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I began hosting in 2009 at my home in Brisbane. It was a great way to meet people, and I was so lucky to host some amazing people.

My first time surfing was this year, and I had fantastic hosts in Argentina, Brazil, Peru and Chile. I'm so grateful that I can be on the other side of the world, and still feel perfectly at home due to the amazing hospitality people are willing to offer.

I can't host at the moment, but am happy to meet people and explore DF together.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In my travels I've met some people who were Couch Surfing and heard only great things about it! I decided to host a few people and loved it - so look forward to meeting some new people who are optimistic about life, love to have a decent conversation, and can exchange creative ideas!

The most amazing experience I had, was my first time travelling alone. I was feeling a bit apprehensive about arriving in a city on my own. However, my wonderful host met me at the bus station and instantly made me feel comfortable and right at home.

I'm really interested in graphic design, photography, and anything creative! I'm interested in learning other languages - Spanish in particular and Portuguese.

Musica, film e libri

Like seeing live music, listen to a load of different stuff - at the moment Sia, Phoenix, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Haim, Seu Jorge, Band of Horses....open to experiencing NEW music! I also like Salsa!

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Climbing Mt Kinabalu - the tallest mountain in South East Asia! Iguazu Falls in Argentina/Brazil - amazing! Swimming in icy Lake Titicaca. Walking Pumas in the middle of the Bolivian jungle. Partying in Buenos Aires until well after the sun has risen.
