ABOUT ME

I finished studying at the end of 2012 and have been working in education since then. I've been living in New York for the past few months and I'm about to embark on a career as a deckhand working on private yachts around the world!

Interests

Sailing, dancing, reading, wandering around just looking at things, visiting the extremes of the world. My favourite thing to do in a new country is go to the grocery store! I would love to learn to scuba dive, climb mountains, fly planes... EVERYTHING!

Music, Movies, and Books

Pretty much all music but in particular Kanye West, Daft Punk, Beyonce, Regina Spektor, Joan Armatrading, No Doubt, Neil Young.
Movies vary and to be honest I'll watch just about anything if I'm bored enough.
Same with books though I especially like fantasy and sci-fi novels as well as classic literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survived skiing in -35°C weather.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you all about astronomy and astrophysics, discuss philosophy and epistemology, and debate the best way to get people interested in learning. I also sail and love to cook, so maybe I can give you some tips about that.
I love to learn about everything, so I'll be picking your brain on your favourite topic!
