Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not sure where to begin with music. I love late 50's early 60's jazz. Classical, 60's & 70's cal rock. Punk, post punk. A real mixed bag. I enjoy literature that reflects the human condition. It's a bit of a Cliché but I'm still in awe of Shakespeare. I really like a lot of the stuff that came out of the existentialist movement; Camus, Genet and of course Satre and I suppose I like the way Jazz and painting at the time seemed to bounce around the same sensibilities . Film wise I suppose I'm pretty predictable because I like alot of the stuff that came around that period, Ii love the Third Man and Orson Wells, French New, Jean Luc-Godard. I really like modern english directors like Mike Leigh and Ken Loach.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the really amazing things in the world are the small things. Random acts of kindness from one human being to another without the expectation of anything in return. I've seen it a few times and it keeps me going when I'm feeling a bit cynical.
