About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn to speak and to see others world beyond mine

ABOUT ME

All about me? mmm that sounds a little bit too much. I consider myself to be fun and talkative. I am very curious as well so I tend to ask about many things. One of the most amazing aspects of traveling is that you can see and somethings get involved in a different type of life style. I love meeting people specially when I feel that I could really get to meet them, not just on the surface. Another thing that I enjoy a lot is listening to music. There is a certain music in every town and every house and listening to them is one of the main reason why I travel.

PHILOSOPHY

Being open minded is knowing at acknowledging that your society and the ones that are closer to you, such as family and friends, have certain ideas about what is good and bad what is right or wrong and so on. And you are obviously affected by those ideas. But such boundaries can always be changed, if you want it and if you can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Now I'm just traveling and being hosted by wonderful couch surfers and recommending other travelers to experience this but perhaps once I have an apartment of my own I can host people just as my family does.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A story? The best one is when I met Veda. I was with my two friends in Mount Maunganui and we had just arrived. We had hitch hiked there, it was late in the night and we had no place to stay in. After walking for a few blocks with a hand made sign that said: are you Argentinian, we need help (but in Spanish of course) we walked into an internet cafe and logged into couchsurfing. There we found Veda's cell number, we texted her and her really fun 18 years-old son picked us up. That is how I meet my first friend in New Zealand.

Interests

Art in general but perhaps I'm most interested in the kind of art that you can find in public places, like squares or open air markets. I like art gallery too but nothing compares to the beauty of a dance performed in a local party.I love cooking and learning new recipes. I also like trying whatever people eat, most of the time haha.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music, mostly seventies rock but also folclore from my home town, dub, quiet music like coldplay, all sorts of music. Love the doors
Movies, specially foreign and about historic events that affected people's live dramatically but a good comedy is always welcome. Dogville was one of the greatest movies I've watched.
Books:I'll say the authors cause I don't remember most of the names of the books I've read. Agatha Christie, Edgar Allan Poe, Julio Cortazar, Isabel Allende, Oscar Wilde and some more
