About Me

I'm an artist and have been traveling since February 2013 to create 34South|61North an ever developing art work that has seen me travel from Chile to Michigan.

I'm now getting ready to go back to London before completing the journey by traveling through Canada and Alaska.

I have always made art and travelled. At the moment i'm working towards opening a B'n'B with artist residency programme.

PHILOSOPHY

This is not my philosophy, but I like it:

In the beginning, before any gesture, all initiative and every
deliberate desire to travel, the body works in the manner of the
metals under the action of the sun. Perceiving the evidence of the
elements the body moves, expands, extends, streches and modifies its
volume. All this genealogy get lost in tepid waters of an amniotic
fluid, a stellar primitive shower where starts twinkle which later
manufactures maps in the sky, then shinning topographies which emerges
and indicates the pastor’s Star - my dad was the first one to teach me
- between the various constellations. The desire to travel has a
confused origin in this lustral tepid water, it strangely feeds of
this metaphysics surface and germinal ontology. Nobody becomes
unrepentant nomad unless instructed in the flesh, by hours of the
maternal belly rounded like a globe, a map of the world. The rest is
already a written parchment.

Island hopping through southern Japan, constantly being spoiled by local residents. Then staying at an amazing surfers house in Okinawa and watching the sunset over the harbour every night with cold beer and edamame.
Camping in the Northland of New Zealand truly feeling like I was at the edge of the world.
