About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get strong and move to Colorado so I can climb and hike more :3

ABOUT ME

I moved around when I was little but have been pretty much raised in Houston, Texas. My mom is from Mexico and my dad is from England though, so I don't think I was raised as most Americans are! I'm vegetarian but not the preach-y kind.

I wish I had enough patience to learn an instrument! Not sticking with any instrument is thus far my short life's greatest failure :( boooo

HOWEVER. I've done lots of good and bad and crazy and weird things. My life has been pretty full of wonderful people who've helped me grow into who I am now.

all about me?
I keep a diary. I have a cat named Mango. I have a little brother called Alex. I love raspberries and the feeling of my feet in mud and can't STAND having my nails filed.

this is not close to "all about me" but it's what you get for now. c:

PHILOSOPHY

I live to learn and help people. I am happy when I see someone laughing and sad when I see someone crying, so to make myself happy I must be at peace and then help others be there too. I don't know much about anything, but I do know suffering when I see it in both humans and animals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on here because there's no cooler community. there's no better manifestation of karma than this right here. i have yet to have a negative experience. I doubt i ever will!

Interests

Movies are awesome. I watch waay too many.
I also love the wonderful outdoors - animals, walking, kayaking, hiking, rock climbing etc. actually VERY into rock climbing right now. I work one day a week at a rock climbing gym :3

I really enjoy reading. This is a must in my life.

I love cooking although I'm not amazing at it. Currently asian food is the obsession. peanut stir fry mmmm

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen the monarch butterflies resting on the trees in the mountains in Mexico, and the bats leave their caves when dusk comes. I've heard a chorus of toads at night on a swamp. I've seen a huge sea turtle swim right by me in the middle of the ocean. I've seen pyramids and sky scrapers but still - the most amazing things I've ever seen are humans beings as a species doing all the amazing and silly things we do.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Spanish or some French and also will TOTALLY give you basic cooking skills. I'm also very good with diets and can tell you where to get protein, carbs, vitamins from and what kinds of nutrients are in what and all that good stuff. I can teach you how to eat better and have more energy! (I don't know about weight loss, I just know about eating healthy)
I can also teach the basics of photography and dslr filmaking.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help you with the languages I know and also help you get into hiking and the outdoors! I can also teach you how to cook cheap healthy delicious vegetarian and vegan food :3
