About Me

Nature and simplicity lover.

P.S. I live a calm life, almost without alcohol so I won't be the best host if you want to party. But we can cook together, or sing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet interesting people on the way. Every human being has something unique and special- I like to find that thing in every couchsurfer I meet (and the more crazy that thing is the more I like it:)

Interests

Singing, combined with my true love to folk music = singing traditional, folk songs from all over the world. For now I know only Polish and some Ukrainian ones. I would love to get to know other countries traditional songs :)

Herbs and plants - edible, medicine and ritual used plants.

Besides that I like taking photos with an analog camera and then play in the dark room, sailing, hiking in the mountains, love riding a bike, stretching and joga.
My interests are a never ending story and I truly suffer I can't develop all of them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Each type of music is good for different mood.
Bluegrass for chill out,
Electronic music for studying,
Rock for cooking,
Balkan music for dancing.

Books: the best of the best is East of Eden. Second best in the world is Jacques the Fatalist and his Master, then everything ever written by Gogol.

Movies: I love Sorrentino, Bergman, Kieślowski, Fellini.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Somewhere down in Mexico I found a giraffe made by local indian tribe. I bought it and kept it though all my journey, brought it all the way to Poland and gave it as a present to my best friend's 80 yo aunt, who is crazy about giraffes.
Sounds meaningless, but oh boy, you should have seen how happy she was. I think that was the best present I have ever given to anyone.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to get to know your country traditional songs (or dishes!)
