ABOUT ME

We are together, but we are quite different in a way. Nico is more extraverted and never stops talking. Seb is a bit more quite and listens a lot, is relaxed and takes his time. Hope you'll enjoy both of us anyway!!

Nico loves to learn and speak foreign languages, talking and discovering new cultures. Seb loves to talk about the Marvel universe and science-fiction / fantasy. We both are really into the typical French "apéro" talking about how we could change the world^^
Nico is currently an English teacher and training to be a tour guide in Lyon, and one of his dreams is to teach French and English abroad, and one day create his own association for languages and foreign cultures on the model of this place in Lyon you absolutely have to check out if you're going there.

Sebastien, who is an accountant and loves role plays and chilling out around a nice meal! He doens't dare to speak English, but when he is comfortable with you he makes a great deal of an effort. :)

We love food and wine. When we travel we really focus on discovering as many typical dishes and wines as possible.

ALSOOOOOO we have a doggy. She's a French bulldog, and her name is Kalea. She's adorable, very sociable and cute. You'll grow fond of her definitely.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Nico has been on Counchsurfing for a long time, has hosted many people from everywhere. Seb is quite new on this website, he is just eager to see more of it!
We hate the uniformization of minds and globalized thought-makers that mass travelling is getting to generate more and more, so just keep in mind that we are all different, we don't all eat McDonalds or listen to the last crap that hit the top first position in the American music head lists. There's a million way to experience life and think, so respect it and do not take your cultural references for the only legitimate.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nico has had a lot, and now it's time that we do it together with Sebastian!

Intereses

Nico is kind of an eclectic guy, I like a lot of things (actually, not really fond of sports!!). Cinema, reading, music (I play the saxophone and trying out the guitar), learning foreign languages (English, Spanish, Italian, Greek, Portuguese), surfing through the net looking for travel sites and photos, going out with friends and discover all good places (restaurant, bars, parcs...), photography, nature, news of the world (BBC, CNN, other international channels), history, geography (I can spend hours learning a map by heart!!) and architecture.
Sebastian is crazy about series (Game of Thrones, Stranger Things...) and Marvel films and series in general. He prefers the outdoors to a stunning monument, and he's curious about plants and animals too!
He likes to go for a ride with his bike, organize our week-end trips, invite friends over for 'apéros', listen to music, spend the night to play role plays with his friends.

Música, películas y libros

Sebastian: loves heroic-fantasy books and fantastic (N°4, Harry Potter...), action and comedy movies like Love Actually (hates horror movies), and listens to pop-rock bands like Imagine Dragons, Florence and the Machine...and recently Greek music too!

Nico: doesn't have any specific type of literature, loves reading about everything: novels, poetry, essays, newspapers, scientific literature. He loves many types of movies, especially fantastic, fantasy, historical and some horror movies. I listen to electronic music, trip-hop, indie pop-rock, world music...

Driving a camping car through Bulgaria and Greece for the summer holiday. Unforgettable experience! :D

If we can, we would be more than happy to teach you many things!
French, English, Spanish, accounting (if you ever need it hehe), French cooking...
As a future tour guide, I would be more than happy to get you on a tour around the city. This is practise for me, and undoubtedly this will be very enjoyable for you! So do not hesitate!!!

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

We like to take time with the people who come and visit us. It is a principle for us that we don't accept any request if we are not available. Our flat is no AirBnB, we are here to share and show you around as much as we can.
Lyon is a very beautiful city, there are many restaurants, green areas and all types of things to do.
As a future tour guide, Nico is still training at the moment, so he would love to take you out to the wonderful city of Lyon to guide you through its narrow streets and little secrets!!
