ABOUT ME

I'm studying anthropology, and I'm trying to enjoy every day of my life, and share it with the others.
I'm a volunteer for NY Cares, because it's a nice feeling to help other people.
I love books, museums, modern art, sitting in the cafe all day long, reading, writing, thinking, or just dreaming;) But after dark... I'm a party person!!!
I love to hang out with my friends, bars, karaoke, bowling, pool, everything!!! And of course, I love meeting new people from every corner of the world!!!

PHILOSOPHY

I don't want to grow up!!!;)
Life is a wonderful thing, and we get it only once, therefore we should enjoy everyday of it!
See as much as possible, learn as much as possible, and try to do some good things.
Live in a harmony with our planet, as well as with other people.
Be kind to everyone, and treat people in the way You wish to be treated.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately I cannot provide the couch at the moment, but I'm working on it. Hopefully I'll be able to start hosting from August or September this year! However, I can meet You for Coffee or drink, show New York, take to the museum or cool bar!

Many things!!!
Cultures, human evolution, languages, in other words Anthropology!
Read books, usually about other cultures, travels, but also some classics.
I like to write from time to time, some articles, poems, short stories, that somehow arose in my head, or just a journal.
Photography, I like to take a pictures of everything (but I'm not a very good photographer).
I like to draw, even though I'm suck at it!
I like to learn interesting facts about the world, and science.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:
About cultures, history, travels, sometimes a good detective story. But to be more exact, here are my favorites:
"The Name Of The Rose", "The Alchemist", "Candide",and all books written by Ryszard Kapuscinski.

Music:
Almost all kinds, although I like rock the most.
But it depends on my mood. Sometimes i like to listen some classics, and sometimes I even listen to some heavy metal (very rarely though).
And again, my favorites are:
Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dzem, Green Day, The Offspring, Nirvana, Pink Floyd, Gogol Bordello, The Beatles, Tryo, Mathieu Chedid,Indochine, Yves Montand, Edith Piaf, , and some classics guys like, Chopin, Mozart, and the four seasons by Vivaldi.

Movies:
I just adore documentary movies (National Geographic, Discovery channel, BBC series, history channel etc)
Besides that, "The raiders of the lost ark", "Dead Poets Society", "The Mission", "Shawshank Redemption", "Forrest Gump", "The Life Of Brian", "Moulin Rouge", comedies with Louis de Funes, and many, many other.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Few weeks ago I fall asleep in the subway and I missed my stop;)
But to be more serious, visiting the old monastery in Ukraine, I've kissed the body of a 300 years old monk, long story, I can tell You when we'll meet;)

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I can teach You some words in Polish, share my thoughts, opinions, laugh, and anything I know about this world;)
