About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Supercharged from London 2012, creating a new world

ABOUT ME

I'm a dreamer. I love travelling around with good company as well as alone. Zodiac Sign "Aquarius" if you know what I mean ;) I get quickly bored in the "common life" doing "common things".

I like having good/long conversations as long as we're talking sincerely and with respect. Although I'm not really shy I prefer to get to know my opposite at least a bit before showing her/him the real me.

I can party till break of dawn but I can also go to bed at sunset xD

Before moving to Germany and living here for more than 10 years now I lived in Venezuela some 7 years and before that in USA, before that in Germany and before in Venezuela =)

I can feel comfortable in a lot of different places and cities, but none I've found where I want to stay for the rest of my life.

Some of my former colleagues of work say I'm quite serious and polite, other add that I'm like a spark with danger of turning into a bonfire.

I love learning languages, trying new things (eat/drink/activities).

Places where you could possibly find me:

- on the beach (in the water or getting tanned ^^)
- in the city (the guy you'll walk by at least 5 times a day if you're walking circles in the main shopping areas just for fun, too)
- @ the airport (tasting the smell of travel or having an ice cream)
- @ a Party (probably @ the bar drinking SouthernComfort with Ginger Ale or asking if they've got Venezuelan Rum ^^)
- @ Starbuck's (drinking a "Quad Venti Double Peppermint Iced Chocolate Moccha" - hope you haven't had lunch yet ^^)
- anywhere - eating low-budget food - especially asian food
- anywhere - listening to music and maybe even singing along with (depending on how crowded the street is ^^)

PHILOSOPHY

Live like you'll die tomorrow, without doing anything you would regret if you don't!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Trying to get to know my opposite and sharing some great minutes/hours/days.

Having an exchange of values and culture in order to create a better place, where I am.

Offering a big red couch in the living room in the flat I share with my brother.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The few CouchSurfers I have met so far were great and I'm looking forward to meet many more soon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My greatest experience was visiting Beijing during the Summer Olympics 2008. I was sitting at Yoshinoya's and eating rice, beef and vegetables with chopsticks and looked out the window. That's when I realized I was in China, making a dream come true, which I was having since I was 14-years old..

My biggest adventures

- Taking a bus in Beijing as only foreigner towards the Great Wall of China - arriving at the wrong place and finding my way without speaking chinese, all for less than 5€.

- Volunteering four weeks at the Olympic Village during London Summer Olympics 2012, providing language services to Athlete's, Coaches and protocol services to Royals, Heads of State and other dignitaries.

Next adventures to come (JAN/FEB/MAR/APR)

- Finding my pace for this year
- Enjoying a one-week holiday with my girlfriend
- Visiting my god-daughter (living 600km away!)
- Driving to Holland with my girlfriend
- Celebrating Queensday in Amsterdam!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to learn how to play Piano and loads of other things, but I guess that everything comes @ the right time.

I can teach you German/Spanish, though you shouldn't expect me to explain grammar perfectly, since these are my mother tongues ;)
I can explain baseball/basketball though I haven't got a clue about Rugby

I love to share and exchange music (not cds, just listening to music other people like)

I am currently learning Japanese
